Military Technology

            The military is coming up with new technology all the time to protect our country. Three things that I will be telling you about are tanks and helicopters. I will also be telling you about the improvements of the technology.

         Tanks are one of the strongest machines that the military uses. They are giant machines that are often made of metal. They also shoot heavy weaponry.

A lot of tanks can shoot really far. They can shoot up to 4 km. Some tanks also have a person that shoots a machine gun through a little hole somewhere along the outside. It also just depends on the type of tank that is shooting. A lot of tanks have different kinds of hulls.  Hulls can be used for speed or strength. Tanks are a vey valuable asset in battle.

         The United States military has many different kinds of aircraft that they us inside or outside of combat. I’ll be telling you about helicopters. Helicopters are a type of aircraft that usually use two propellers to fly. One of the propellers is the large one that is on the top. The other one is a much smaller one that is placed on the back of most helicopters to balance it.

If it is a helicopter that is used in battle than they probably have some assault rifles attached to the bottom that are controlled and shot by the pilot. The military is also has a type of helicopter that turn with the direction you are looking. Helicopters are another valuable part of battle.

         Overall, our country has many different kinds of weapons and devices that are used every day to protect the place we live. Technology is one of the most valuable things to use and the United States will keep using it for years to come.
